Email Providers
Email providers are services that take care of the technical aspects necessary for sending and receiving emails.
In this section you can configure email providers.
Email Data
Name: It is the name by which the provider will be identified.
Type: It is where you choose the provider to use.
Account: It is the email account used to send and receive email.
From Name: It refers to the name of the person who sent such emails.
Receive emails: If enabled, emails sent to the configured email address will be queued on the campaign. In addition, the IMAP and POP fields will be mandatory if the provider type is SMTP-IMAP; If this checkbox is empty, the campaign will not require incoming ports and will not receive mails, but it will be able to send.
Active reference: It determines whether the system should utilize the message ID for referencing purposes.
Next, the different types of providers.
SMTP-IMAP
In case the authentication is with a username/password, from name and account fields must be modified. User must go in the Account field and the account must go in the From name.
Password: Password assigned to the email account. If it is written incorrectly the new campaign will not be created. The user will be warned in case this happens.
Reply to: Email addresses where responses received from the provider should be sent. If you want to configure more than one, they must be separated by “;”
Outbound SMTP: Protocol for simple transfer of assigned mail, it is mandatory to send emails.
Inbound IMAP: Assigned Internet message access protocol is mandatory only if Receive Emails is active.
Port: The number of the port assigned for each protocol. Note that this field only accepts numbers.
Encryption/Security
The user has three different TLS, SSL and SMTP options.Gmail:

Status: The status refers to whether the provider is active, or if an error occurred when activating it. They are represented by colors:
Grey: This is the color that comes by default.
Red: This color appears when an error occurred.
Green: It means that it is successfully activated.
To finish the creation process, the user must click on the "Save" button.
Outlook
Reference active: It determines whether the system should utilize the message ID for referencing purposes.
In the case of an Outlook-type provider, you must log-in. First you need to complete the fields name and account then click Save.
In this step we must log in with the same email account that we put in the account field, after entering the password and having started the session correctly we must accept the necessary permissions to send and receive emails.
In case the provider was successfully created and connected you will see the following screen.
All set, we can use the provider in a campaign.
Gmail
Reference active: It determines whether the system should utilize the message ID for referencing purposes.
After completing the data and clicking the 'Save' button, the following pop-up will appear, where Google informs the user about the data that uContact will access in the account configured in the corresponding field.
Upon clicking the 'Continue' button, a message will be displayed indicating that the data was successfully synchronized.
After this, the provider will be connected and ready to be used in a campaign or dialer.
